Birr Rugby Football club are again hosting a fundraising golf classic and the committee would like to invite you to support us, in any way you can, on Fri 29th Sept next at Birr Golf Club.
Like all voluntary sports organisations it is a constant challenge to raise funds for recurring club expenses, and also maintain a growing number of teams at mini, youths and senior levels.
Last season 2016-2017 we increased our player numbers again with the introduction to Birr of girl’s rugby at U / 15 and U / 18 levels. This has proven to be a huge success with excellent playing numbers and a fantastic commitment from all the girls, players and our new coaches.
We would urge you to participate in our golf classic day (€160 per team of 4 incl. one course dinner) or alternatively, you can contribute to hole sponsorship (€50), if you prefer.
It promises to be a very sociable day and all proceeds from the day will to be used for continuous upgrading and development on our clubhouse, pitches and playing facilities.
We look forward to having you join us on what has always proved to be a great day out.
Meet in Birr Golf Club at 1pm, golf format on the day is a “Shotgun Start” at 2pm .
